Azerbaijan, Qatar sign joint memorandum

Azerbaijan and Qatar have signed a memorandum of understanding. It will open up additional opportunities for mutual cooperation between the state airlines of the countries, Trend cites the Azerbaijani Civil Aviation Administration as saying on Wednesday.

The memorandum was signed after a meeting between Qatar and Azerbaijan's civil aviation delegations in Baku.

The Azerbaijani side received several proposals on amending the agreement on air communication for further consideration.

The meeting was held on the initiative of the Qatari side in Baku, as well as in connection with plans for the of opening Baku-Doha regular flights.
