Turkey notes Iran's advanced defense industry

Turkey needs to improve the development of its defense industry and fulfil demands for military prodcts, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trend reports.


As an example, the Turkish PM pointed out Iran, which produces missiles with a range of up to 2,500 km, compared with 150 km for Turkish missiles.


Erdogan noted that Iran produces military equipment and weapons independently from Europe and despite international sanctions.
