Belarus and Georgia discuss cooperation in agriculture
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaBelarusian Minister for Agriculture and Food Mikhail Rusy met Georgian Agriculture Minister Zaza Gorozia on December 28. The ministers discussed cooperation and interaction of the Trade and Industry Chambers, Business Georgia reports.
As chairman of the Belarusian side of the Belarusian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, Mikhail Rusy proposed realization of deals and expansion of the trade list. Belarus may increase exports of dry fat-free milk to Georgia, butter and other products. Belarus is also interested in selling sugar. Belarus wants to buy Georgian alcohol products, nuts, fruits and dried fruit. Belarus wants to study Georgian experience in sheep-breeding.
Georgia may lease Belarusian agricultural equipment and study experience in milk production.
