Georgia to pass bill on status of compatriots abroad

A bill on status of compatriots living abroad will be passed in 2012, giving them additional rights and determine their relations with the state.
Realization of programs will continue in 2012. This concerns Sunday schools of Georgia abroad. The schools will have a unified program rather than own programs.
The state minister noted the need to form a memorandum on legal re-issuing of the Leuville Cemetery near Paris where Georgian migrants are buried. A Center of Georgian Culture is to open in the area to become one of the most important Georgian education and political centers in Europe.
Commenting on economic projects, the minister noted that about 2011 farmers from South Africa visited Georgia in 2011, 25 of the farmers registered their business in Georgia. They invested 10 million in the local economy.
