Additional stabilization fund to open in Zhanaozen
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaZhanaozen, a city in the Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan, will have an additional stabilization food fund formed with a capital of $3.325 million, Trend reports.
The fund will be formed by 7 Kazakh companies and will start supplying the city with 10 types of food products.
The Kaspiy Joint Stock Company is providing food products through 6 trade points and 7 mobile trade points.
Zhanaozen saw mass disorder on December 16, resulting in 16 people being killed and over 100 injured. Dozens of buildings, cars were burnt down. An emergency regime was imposed until January 31.
