Israel and US to organize joint drills

The US and Israel plan to organize joint drills for anti-missile defenses in the near future, ITAR-TASS reports.

The training will be called Austere Challenge 12. The drills were planned long ago and have no relation to the recent missile tests in Iran.

Israel will test the modernized Arrow-3 missiles in late January, capable of intercepting ballistic missiles in the stratosphere. The missiles were developed with US financial support. The Boeing Corporation plans to take part in the tests.
