Gambling banned in Kyrgyzstan

The State Financial Police Service of Kyrgyzstan said that a special group was formed to monitor violations of gambling ban that had come into force on January 1, 2012, 24.kg reports.

Gambling centers in Bishkek and the Chuyskaya District continued operating despite the ban. This includes the Vulkan and Rio casinos.

Out of 15 casinos 5 were operating. 3 rooms with slot machines out of 21 continued work. Administrators and owners of gambling centers will be punished, according to the law.
