Azerbaijan to present innovations in London

An Azerbaijani delegation will attend the International Exhibition BETT-2012 to present innovations and advanced technology in London on January 11-14, 1news.az reports.

1news.az reports that the delegation will be headed by Samir Mamedov, head of the Department for Informatization of Education System of the Azerbaijani Ministry for Education.

Azerbaijan will also attend conferences and seminars held within the framework of the exhibition, compare informatization processes, exchange views with experts. Azerbaijan is carrying out informatization according to the program for 2008-2012.

Azerbaijan will present the AzEduNet program aimed at improving IT skills of teachers, preparation of electronic resources, formation of the edu.az electronic school. Executive Director of Mədəd, Vyusal Khanlarov, will present information on staff training and use of IT.

About 600 companies and 30,000 visitors are expected at the BETT. The exhibition demonstrates advanced innovations and technologies. It is held annually.
