Georgia needs good relations with its neighbors, Georgian President
Mikhail Saakshvili said in an interview with Berliner Zeitung, Rosbalt
reports.


Saakashvili said that this concerns Iran first of all. He spoke out
against sanctions aimed at the people of Iran, not the authorities.


Saakashvili also denied that the relations between the USA and Georgia
had changed with the coming to power of Barack Obama .Saakashvili also
said he is changing the policy towards Abkhazia and South Ossetia by
trying to explain to the populations of the "occupied territories"
that "Georgians are not what Russia tries to make them look like".
