Counter-terrorism operation starts in Chermen, North Ossetia

A counter-terrorism operation has been started in the Chermen settlement of the Russian Caucasian republic of North Ossetia, RIA Novosti cites a source in the republic's law-enforcement agencies as saying.

One militant has already been killed, the source says.
