Armenia ranked 39th in annual Index of Economic Freedom

Armenia was ranked 39th in the 2012 Index of Economic Freedom issued by the Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal, News.am reports.

Armenia’s economic freedom score is 68.8, making its economy the 39th freest in the 2012 Index.

The experts stress Armenia’s score has decreased by 0.9 point from last year, reflecting worsened scores in freedom from corruption, government spending, and monetary freedom.
