Anzhi FC to play Iraqi team in UAE

Makhachkala Anzhi FC will play the Iraqi national team in the United Arab Emirates on January 16th 2012, the club says.

The match will be held within the framework of the warm up of Yuri Krasnozhan’s team. The second part of the training will be held in three parts with a mini-tour. Odil Ahmedov, the best player of Anzhi FC in 2011, was Anzhi's first unofficial goal-scorer in 2012.

Anzhi FC will stay in the UAE until January 22 and will play two matches against Iraq. Spain’s Campoamor will host games from January 28 to February 10, where Anzhi FC will play in the Copa del Sol-2012. Moscow Spartak, Shakhtar Donetsk, Norway's Rosenborg, the Czech Republic's Victoria and Sweden's Gotenborg will play.

The final games will be played in Turkey on February 16-29, although the tournament dates may be shortened.

Anzhi FC took part in 32 rounds, taking 52 points, putting it in 7th position. It will play Moscow Dynamo in March.
