Presidential envoys still useful - Russian top official

Presidential envoys sent to regions are still useful in Russia, head of presidential staff Sergey Ivanov says, adding that rumours about possible the cancellation of such posts are baseless, RIA Novosti reports on Friday.

"Now presidential envoys deal with quite different issues than ten years ago, but they are still useful," the official says.
