Kazakhstan prepares for parliamentary elections

Kazakhs wil vote for their parliament tomorrow. Today any kind of campaigning is prohibited.

The voting will start at 7 a.m Astana time and continue till 8 p. m. Some 9 million people are expected to take part in the polls.

7 parties will take part in the elections. They are the ruling Nur Otan party backed by President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Ak Zhol party, the Patriots of Kazakhstan party, the Communist People's Party, the Adilet party, the United Opposition Party and the Auyl party.
