Azerbaijan exported 7 billion cubic meters of gas in 2011

According to meter indicators, Azerbaijan exported 7.092 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2011, 1news.az reports, citing the National Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. At the moment the Azerbaijani National Oil Company SOCAR exports gas to Russia, Georgia and Iran, as well as to the Nakhchyvan Autonomous Republic. Moreover, the Shah Deniz consortium exports gas to Turkey through the South Caucasus pipeline.
