Indian car manufacturers keen to enter Iranian market
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaDaud Mirhani Reshti, Advisor of the Iranian Association of Car Manufacturers, said that Indian companies want to enter the Iranian market and replace companies of states hostile towards the Islamic Republic, Iran News reports.
Reshti clarified that a whole set of states, including some European countries, are hostile towards Iran.
The advisor believes that Indian car manufacturers could replace them. Indian companies cannot offer the same quality as European ones, but they actively cooperate with the leading car manufacturers and produce modern vehicles together.
Majid Hedayat, Iranian Deputy Minister for Industry, Mines and Trade, said that they had reached an agreement with India manufacturers to develop chassis and platform for a new car.
