Kazakh CEC registers members of lower chamber of parliament

The Kazakh Central Electoral Commission has registered 107 members of the lower chamber of parliament, Trend reports.

83 members of the lower chamber will represent the National Democratic Party "Nur Otan", 8 - the Democratic Party "Ak Zhol" and 7 - the Communist Party. 9 more deputies were elected by the Kazakh People's Assembly.

Kazakhstan held parliamentary polls on January 15, with over 75% of the population giving votes. Nur Otan got 80.99% of vote, Ak Zhol - 7.47%, the Communists - 7.19%.
