Vice-premier and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said that
organizers of the humanitarian convoy "Freedom Flotilla" have ties
with Chechen separatists, reports Rossiya-24.
"It is obvious that their aim was conflict and bloodshed,"- he said.
He also noted that the Israeli and Turkish sides maintained close
contacts through official and alternative channels. "We have offered
various alternatives for transporting this so-called humanitarian aid.
But all our offers were refused." - Lieberman said.
Moreover, he insists, the Israeli side asked organizers of the
humanitarian convoy to negotiate with the leaders of HAMAS and visit
an imprisoned Israeli corporal, but that this request was also denied.

"The amount of money found on the ship showed that without doubt there
were contractors, ready to open fire," - said the head of the Israeli
Foreign Ministry.
"Six ships participated in this convoy, and on five of them people
received no injuries," - said Lieberman. According to him, on board
one of the ships militants from Lebanon, Syria, Sudan and other states
were concentrated . "These were the ones who initiated this massacre,"
- stated the Israeli minister, Interfax reports.
