Ahmadinejad to go to Turkey for CICA conference

The president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, will take part in the 3rd meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) which is to take place on June 7th-9th, Trend reports, with reference to the Iranian media.

The meeting will be chaired by Turkish president Abdullah Gul. Other leaders of the member-states of the conference will participate in the conference, including Russian prime-minister Vladimir Putin, president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and president of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai. Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov will probably accompany Putin.
