Turkey contributes to Nabucco implementation

Despite threats and speculation, the Nabucco project will be implemented, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said at a bilateral energy conference in Tbilisi, Trend reports.

"We are partners in the Nabucco project and try to contribute to its implementation by all means," Yildiz stressed.

Yildiz said all the existing problems associated with Nabucco will be resolved.

Yildiz noted that there are not enough projects to supply gas to Europe by alternative routes up to 2035, therefore it is necessary to implement all the existing projects, including the Shah Deniz project.
