A PACE co-rapporteur for Armenia, John Prescott, did not attend a session of the monitoring mission in Strasburg. He was to present a report about his visit to Yerevan on January 16-17, News.am reports.

On his visit to Armenia Prescott hit the table with his hand, expressing discontent over the question on switch to a 100% proportional system of Armen Rustamyan, head of the Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Relations.

The next session of the monitoring mission is planned in Paris on March 13, with Prescott expected to present the report. He will make the final report in June, giving information on the parliamentary polls.

Armenian members of the PACE Naira Zograbyan, Zarui Postanjyan and Armen Rustamyan did not attend a lunch organized for John Prescott at the BelAni Restaurant in Yerevan.
