Russia's Putin unaware of protests

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is unaware of popular protests held in many Russian cities after the December parliamentary elections, Ekho Moskvy reports on Friday.

Asked by a Sky News TV channel's correpondent about the series of protests, Putin asked: "Protests? What protests?" adding, "I don't really care about it."

According to the prime minister, he cares about "ordinary Russian people."
