Armenian fraudster jailed in USA

Sargis Tadevosyan, an Armenian native, has been jailed to 6 years for frauds with Medicare insurances in the US, Tert.am reports.

Tadevosyan, 42, was imprisoned for theft of data and producing falsified medical insurances.

Arsen Benjanyan, another Armenian, Igor Shevchuk, a Russian, and others are involved in the case. The group was headed by a man named Garik. He registered several fake clinics and issued false bills for insurance payers.

Shevchuk paid $5,000 to Tadevosyan and Bejnanyan to have them take part in the fraud and give Garik their personal details. He paid them $400 each for signing documents on one of accounts in 2011.

Tadevosyan, Shevchuk, Benjanyan were arrested in May. Benjanyan and Shevchuk admitted guilt and got 18 years of prison.
