Putin says Russia may become world's 5th largest economy

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin says Russia may soon become the word's fifth largest economy, RIA Novosti reports on Thursday.

The remarks came during the Russia-2012 Forum.

Currently Russia is the world's sixth largest economy, with the US being the first and China the second.
