Former Adygeya presidential envoy becomes senator

Murat Khapsirokov, has become a member of the Federation Council, RIA Novosti reports.

Khapsirokov was the Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy of Adygeya until March 2011. He received votes of 52 deputies and one against. Former senator Samogov, elected in August 2011, resigned due to changing job.
