Pope rejects Iran’s invitation

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad invited Pope Benedict XVI to visit Iran, Iranian Ambassador to the Vatican Ali Akbar Naseri said, APA reports.

The Pope rejected the invitation. He received many invitations this year and visited Lebanon. Benedict XVI will not visit Iran in 2012.
