EU ambassador praises Azerbaijani tax system

Azerbaijan has a modern tax system, EU delegation in Azerbaijan head Roland Kobia said at the forum "Tax System in Azerbaijan: realities and prospects" held in Baku on Thursday, Trend reports.

"I am sure Azerbaijan will successfully fulfill its commitment to improve and establish a strong tax system," Kobia said.

He said the EU continues working with Azerbaijan to introduce an e-audit system in the country.

"The formation of a legal base is important," he said. "Work is underway. The best methods and practice used in the world will be reflected there."
