Kyrgyzstan takes office at TURKPA

Kyrgyzstan has taken over the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA), APA reports.

Kyrgyzstan will chair the first session in April 2012. The Azerbaijani speaker of parliament will also take part in the session.

TURKPA consists of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
