Azerbaijan to spend 50 million manats on 2012 Eurovision Song Contest

The Azerbaijani Cabinet has approved expenses for international and domestic events in 2012, ABC.az reports.

About 77 million manats will be provided, including a reserve of 9.89 million manats. 50 million manats will be spent on the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.

The Azerbaijani Foreign ministry will receive 2.601 million manats for the event, the Ministry for Economic Development – 2.882 million manats, Ministry for Culture and Tourism – 5.4 million manats, State Committee for Diasporas – 3.818 million manats.
