Armenian GDP increased by 4.6% in 2011

Preliminary information says that Armenian GDP increased by 4.6% in 2011, Minister for Economy Tigran Davtyan said at the 9th International Economic Forum “Most” at Tsakhkadzor on Saturday, News Armenia reports.

The official noted record industrial growth of 14.1% in 2011. State production exceeded $2.5 billion.

Exports increased by 28-29% in 2011.

The share of industry in the GDP of Armenia increased from 14% to 25%.
