Kazakhstan organizes working group for Single Economic Space
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Kazakh government has organized a working group for modernization of the Customs Code of the Single Economic Space of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, Majit Yesenbayev, Chairman of the Committee for Customs Control of the Finances Ministry, said on Monday, Trend reports.
The working group will be headed by Deputy Finance Minister Daulet Yergozhin.
Yesenbayev believes that the Customs Code has too many renvois. The code has 48 renvois for international agreements, 56 for the commission of the Customs Union and 182 for the national legislature. Formation of a common basis of authorization documents has not been resolved, neither has development of common forms for imports and exports of goods with restrictions.
The Russian, Belarusian, Kazakh and Kyrgyz Customs Union is an interstate treaty for formation of a single customs space.
