Russia welcomes repatriation of Syrian Circassians

Russia welcomes the possible repatriation of the Circassians now living in Syria, RIA Novosti reports.

The Federation Council (the upper chamber of the Russian Parliament) will even send a special delegation to Syria in order to monitor the conditions the Syrian Circassians live in.

There are almost 3 million Caucasian people living in Turkey, Syria and Jordan, the news agency informs.
