State Department of the U.S. decides who is friend and who is foe for Syrian people

The U.S. think that Russia will probably not receive an invitation to the meeting of “Friends of Syria”, Interfax reports, referring to the words of the official representative of State Department, Victoria Nuland.

Responding to the question of whether one has to be a friend for the U.S. in order to participate in the conference of “Friends of Syria”, Nuland said that for this purpose one must be, first of all, a friend of the Syrian people. “We hope that on the list of those invited to the conference, which is, obviously, a big group of countries from different conferences, will be included those countries who support the Syrian people with word and deed and who have approved the resolution of General Assembly of the United Nations Organization and the suggestion of the League of Arab States on the peaceful management of the conflict in Syria,” the representative of the State Department declared.

“And, unfortunately, neither Russia nor China can be ascribed to this category,” she added.
