Huge Caspian resort planned

Kazakhstan plans to open a resort on the Caspian Sea. The new resort
will be the biggest resort in the region and will meet all
international standards when it opens in 2015. The construction
agreement was signed by the Kazakh government and Syrian International
Business Center (SIBC).
The resort will be called Kenderli Beach and will occupy 1700
hectares. A new airport and a desalination plant, to supply the
facility with fresh water, will be built. The cost of the project is
estimated at $5.6 billion.
