Armenian premier meets new OSCE representative
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has met Ambassador Andrey Sorokin, head of the Yerevan Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Armenia Today reports.
The prime minister congratulated the official on appointment and wished him success and fruitful work.
Sorokin gave a high rating to activities of the OSCE Yerevan Office. The sides discussed implementation of swift reforms, the so-called Regulating Guillotine. Sargsyan thanked Sorokin for the initiative to assist in realizing reforms.
Armenia and the OSCE signed a letter of intend to improve economic efficiency, the Regulating Guillotine, on November 3, 20211.
The sides exchanged views on cooperation in improving the election process in Armenia. Sargsyan praised the work of OSCE/ODIRH (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights) for its programs on formation of legislature, gender equality, human rights and democracy.
