Iranian Foreign Minister: Tehran does not interfere in situation in Syria

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ramin Mehmanparast, said that Iran
has not intervened in the situation in Syria and did not supply the
country with arms, IRNA reports. Mehmanparast said that Iran condemns
any interference in the situation in Syria, since it is aimed at
worsening the situation of ordinary people in the country. "We support
the rights of the Syrian people and oppose any foreign interference in
the affairs of this country," he added.
