Georgia and Israel may cancel visa regime

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze is on a visit to Israel where he met President Shimon Peres and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. They discussed cooperation in international organizations, prospects for lifting visa regime. Vashadze said that they will form a joint commission to discuss visas in two months, Trend reports.

Peres thanked Georgia for preventing a terrorist attack against the Israeli Embassy in Tbilisi. He noted economic ties between the two states. The Israeli president reminded about over 2000 years of relations between Israel and Georgia.
