Collapsed building in Astrakhan to be replaced with park

A multi-storey apartment building in Astrakhan that killed 10 people when it collapsed will be replaced with a park, ITAR-TASS cites Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of the Astrakhan Region, as saying.

Residents will be accommodated in 10 days, each family will receive a compensation. The park will be built in spring.

He gave special thanks to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin for support.
