Two NATO soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Two NATO servicemen have been killed by two Afghan militants, one of whom is suspected to be a soldier of the Afghan national army, RIA Novosti reports.

An unidentified assailant, suspected to be an officer of Afghan police, killed two US military advisors at the Afghan Interior Ministry in Kabul a week ago. Press secretary of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Jimmy Cammings said that military advisors were ordered to return to ministries, since the left them after the murder.

Afghan protests were provoked by burning of religious Islamic books, including the Quran, at the US military base in Bagram. Over 260 people were injured and 30 killed in a crackdown.
