Kyrgyzstan to cooperate in extraction, processing of oil, gas with Azerbaijan

Kyrgyzstan is ready to discuss oil and gas developments with Azerbaijan, said Uchkunbek Tashbayev, head of the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources of the government, at a meeting with David Mamedov, Vice President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR), KirTAG reports.

Mamedov requested information on the oil and gas reserves of Kyrgyzstan. According to geologists, the state has 12 oil fields with a total of 101.5 million tons of oil reserves, with 13.4 million tons of extractable oil.
