Former Kyrgyz president’s brother escapes jail

The State Service for Execution of Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the jailbreak of former President Kurmabnek Bakiyev’s brother Ahmat, Interfax reports.

According to police reports, Ahmat escaped from the hospital he was moved to after suffering from lung inflammation on March 3.
