Sochi Olympic mascot to appear in 2011

The mascot of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi will appear three
years ahead of the event, a departure from previous Games, the
president of 'Sochi-2014' Organization Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko,
said, Interfax reports.

The committee clarified that they will start developing the mascot
this autumn and it will be presented in 2011.
