New government approved in Karachay-Cherkessia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe president of Karachay-Cherkessia, Boris Ebzeyev, has approved the
republic's new government, RIA Novosti reports, citing the
presidential press-service.
The structure and staff will be presented to the president by Premier
Muradin Kemov. Kemov was appointed on 3rd June 2010.
There are no radical changes. The premier will have 4 deputies,
instead of 5. Umar Uzdenov replaced deputy premier Ismail Aliyev. The
first deputy premier, Sergey Smorodin, remains in his post, while two
other deputy premiers, Janibek Suyunov and Murat Khartsizov, also keep
their positions.
There are new appointments: the new minister of agriculture is Ahmat
Semenov, and the chairman of the state committee on
Karachay-Cherkessian nationalities, mass communications and
publications is Nasipkhan Suyunov.
