State of emergency lifted in North Ossetia

The state of emergency in four North Ossetian regions hit by flooding
was lifted on Thursday afternoon, RIA Novosti reports, citing the
press-service of the republic's government.


At a meeting in the region's capital of Vladikavkaz on Thursday the
head of the regional Ministry of Emergencies, Igor Yevstafyev,
reported to North Ossetian Premier Nicolai Khlintsov on the results of
work on determining damage to housing, roads and communications,
infrastructure, and agriculture in the four regions that suffered from
heavy rains


The state of emergency was lifted in the Alagirskiy, Ardonskiy,
Digorskiy and Prigorodniy regions.
