Georgian speaker visits Israel

Georgian Speaker of Parliament David Bakradze is on a visit to Israel on the invitation of his counterpart Reuven Rivlin, Trend reports.

Bakradze will meet Israeli governmental officials and discuss bilateral cooperation.

The Georgian speaker was to make his visit earlier, but cancelled it due to tensions between the two states in autumn 2011. Relations between Tbilisi and Tel Aviv improved with release of two Israeli businessmen in Georgia.
