Today is the Day of Adyge language and spript

On March 14 in Adygea and Karachay-Cherkessia is celebrated the Day of Adygeyan (Circassian) language and literature. In Karachay-Cherkessia activities in connection with the Day of the national language will be held in Khabez and Adyge-Khablskij districts. During the same day in Cherkessk will be resumed the Republican contest "My tongue, my soul, my world." In Adygea National Theater will be presented the program "My mother Adyge language," said YuGA.ru. portal

"This is a charity event, which is being held in order to develop the national traditions, culture and, of course, Adyge language. This program consists of fragments from plays, monologues, poems, dramatized rituals show etc. The program is very meaningful and interesting because that it can include a large number of components, and therefore vary depending on the situation and the audience ", - the director of the National Theater of Adygea Melechet Zehova said to the portal.

According to her,  the first time  the program "My mother Adyge language" was performed in Turkey in 2009, and was a huge success. It is planned to show the program in all areas of the republic.

President of Adygei Aslan Tkhakushinov congratulated the inhabitants of the republic.  He noted that "for every nation its language, history and culture are of great spiritual value, they are true custodians of knowledge and human wisdom."

"Today the Adyge language is the official language of the republic and, along with the Russian language, serves to strengthen mutual understanding between people. The number of pupils and students of different nationalities specializing in Adyge language and literature in secondary, higher and vocational schools is steadily increasing. Care of the language, tradition and centuries-old foundations, fulfilling the noble mission of moral education and spiritual education of new generations, will remain the priority in work of the national authorities, scientific and creative intelligentsia of Adygea, "- said in the congratulation head of the republic.

A. Tkhakushinov also expressed his firm belief that the Adyge language, which is native, not only for the dozens of thousands of residents of the republic, but also for millions of Adygei living abroad. It will evolve and improve, will serve to further the spiritual revival of the society,  will become a consolidating factor  of unity and strengthening of mutual understanding between different nations.
