Palestine renews missile attacks on Israel

Palestine has started new missile attacks on Israel, ITAR-TASS reports.

They started at 2.30 am. There has been no information on injuries and damage yet. Israel is ready for a ground operation in Gaza, Israeli General Brigadier Yoav Mordechai said.

The general said that the Islamic Jihad extremists were disappointed with its failure to cause real damage, while counter-fire resulted in casualties of its infrastructure and warehouses with weapons.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted new ground operations in a recent speech.

Israel and Palestinian groups in Gaza agreed to cease fire, starting at 1 am, and end the violence. Israeli counter-fire killed 23 militants, including two commanders of the People’s Resistance Committee, about 80 people were injured.  Palestinian militants say they launched over 140 missiles in 4 days, part of them passed missile defenses and injured 8 Israelis.
