On Wednesday, Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting devoted to the formation of what he calls “the big government” – a wider structure created to help the work of the traditional “narrow” cabinet of ministers, The Voice of Russia reports.
President Medvedev outlined his idea of this “big government” back in October. If fact, he wants to make the country’s government a bicameral structure, like the parliament.
The President believes that the work of this “big government” should be completely transparent for the public.
At the same time, the president says that he has faced the problem of lack of suitable candidatures while appointing heads of government offices.
“We should attract more young people,” Dmitry Medvedev believes. “Young people may lack experience, but they may offer fresh approaches to many problems.”
