Mossad helped Azerbaijan neutralize terrorists

Israeli media say that neutralization of the Iranian espionage network in Baku was organized with the assistance of the Azerbaijani Ministry for National Security and Israel’s Mossad (Intelligence Service).

Mossad provided Azerbaijan with information on plots of terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens and offices. Azerbaijan reacted fast and prevented the attacks. Questioning of the arrested terrorists led to the arrest of members of the Iranian espionage network, as stated on March 14.

Israel says that this was the fourth militant group arrested this year for planning attacks on Israeli offices in Baku. This is another example of highly efficient Azerbaijani counter-espionage.
