Alexander Tkachyov appointed presidential envoy to Abkhazia

Krasnodar Governor Alexander Tkachyov was appointed as presidential envoy to Abkhazia, RIA Novosti cites the Kremlin as saying in a statement.

Tkachyov has been running the region for more than 11 years.
